The India Gate - initially called the All India War Memorial which was also known as the Kingsway, is a war memorial located across the Raj path. It is also a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in the period 1914–21 in the First World War.


Humayun's tomb-a memorial built by his wife Empress Bega Begum, designed by a Persian architect who was specially picked by the Empress.

Jawaharlal Nehru's samadhi is to the north of the Raj Ghat and is known as the Shantivan or Shanti Vana meaning the "forest of peace". Adjacent to Nehru's memorial is Ektasthal, the site where K R Narayanan, the tenth President of India, was cremated in 2005.


Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib - is one of the nine historical gurdwaras in Delhi to commemorate the execution site of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur.


PuranaQilais one of the oldest forts in Delhi built by Sher Shah Suri, the founder of the Sur Empire.
